“I walked down to the shop today at about 9.20am as my front door key snapped off in the lock. The assistant took my details and said that someone could come round this afternoon, which I accepted. Approx 11am, the locksmith had arrived, and around 15 minutes later had retrieved the broken bit of key from within the lock. - I had assumed I would need a new lock, so very pleased that it was such a quick fix and that the guy had arrived so promptly. Cost was £65 which seemed very reasonable and I was happy to pay. I didn't ask around, but the convenience factor of it being in the immediate vicinity of my home, along with the fact that it is an established business in a prominent location, gives you the confidence of being able to follow up if any problems.
